Listen in on a discussion between experts from the Open Data CharterOpen Data Watch, and New York City about strategies and experiences for promoting gender equality through open data. For example, government policies and programs require quality data to estimate possible care needs and design interventions that reduce inequality gaps. From a policy view, it is clear that governments require plans to deal with the care crisis. In this scenario, sharing these examples of data policies that help make problems visible and offer effective solutions is an important step to closing gender gaps. After this discussion there will be time for a Q&A with the audience.
